Terms of Service
Last updated July 2026
These terms govern your use of the 13x.audio website and the software products sold through it. By using the site or buying a product, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Who we are
13x.audio is an independent audio-software studio operated by Pascal Zagarolo (Bozenerstraße 26, 42659 Solingen (NRW)) in Germany. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “13x.audio” mean Pascal Zagarolo trading as 13x.audio; “you” means the visitor or customer. You can reach us any time at support@13x.audio.
Orders and payment
Purchases are sold and fulfilled by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the reseller and merchant of record for your order. They take payment, charge and remit any applicable VAT or sales tax, issue your invoice, generate your licence key and deliver your download. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Lemon Squeezy’s terms shown at checkout. Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and may change at any time before you buy.
Licence to use the software
Each product is licensed, not sold, under our End-User Licence Agreement. Please read it — it sets out what you may and may not do with the software.
Demos and downloads
Where a free or demo build is offered, it’s provided for evaluation on an “as is” basis and may be time- or feature-limited. Access to downloads and licence keys is personal to you and shouldn’t be shared.
Acceptable use
- Don’t copy, resell, sublicense or redistribute the software or its presets as a competing product.
- Don’t attempt to circumvent licensing, reverse-engineer the software, or remove proprietary notices, except where the law expressly allows it.
- Don’t use the site to break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, or disrupt the service.
Newsletter
If you sign up for launch news, you consent to receive email from us; every message has a one-click unsubscribe. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your address.
Intellectual property
The software, its interface, branding, presets, audio demos and site content are our property or licensed to us, and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Music and audio you make using our instruments and effects is entirely yours.
Disclaimers and liability
The site and software are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can’t be limited by law, including your mandatory statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, announced on the site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country you live in. We are not obliged or willing to take part in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
