What Logic's stock EQs do and don't do

Installing an Audio Unit EQ in Logic Pro
Logic loads Audio Units only - not VST3 or CLAP. Put the .component file in ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components (just for you) or /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components (every user on the Mac), then launch Logic. It validates new Audio Units on startup and lists them under Audio Units → the developer's name in any insert slot.
- Copy Aurora.component into your Components folder, then open Logic.
- If it doesn't appear: Logic Pro → Settings → Plug-in Manager, select it and choose Reset & Rescan Selection.
- Insert it after the Channel EQ, or replace it on tracks that need dynamic moves.
- GarageBand uses the same Audio Units, so the same install works there too.
