4x4 is a tempo-synced sidechain ducker — but the pump doesn't run through clean volume automation. It runs through a modeled analog engine, so every duck picks up the glue, punch and warmth of real hardware on the way down and back up.

You draw the movement on a node-based curve that's evaluated per sample: click-free, as deep or as gentle as the groove needs. Sync it to the grid, trigger it from a sidechain bus, or fire it from MIDI — the shape is yours.

Phase-coherent multiband lets the bass pump while the hats and air stay forward, and a Groove page adds per-beat depth, swing and humanize so a metronomic gate turns into a feel. Auto-gain keeps every A/B honest.

The v1.0.0 interface opens simple — the real-wave display, the pump and the essentials — then expands to the full sidechain detector, multiband and groove with one click. It's fully resizable, with five skins from near-black glass to warm CRT.
